Books: Massimo Leardini - Scandinavian
The first book specifically devoted to the Scandinavian works of the Italian photographer Massimo Leardini, the aptly named Scandinavian features photoshoots with actress Viktoria Winge and established models such as Iselin Steiro and Ophelie Rupp.
Leardini, originally from Cattolica (Italy) has lived and worked in Norway since 1987. His work, which has received numerous awards and prizes, appears regularly in leading fashion magazines, including Elle, S-Magazine, Smug and Personae.
Characterized by an extremely naturalistic use of black and white, Leardini’s work in Scandinavian is the perfect example of a lyricism that never lapses either into gratuitous voyeurism or saccharine sweetness.
